The Muse
As a woman of Black and Puerto Rican descent, I can say with great certainty, I was born with a little extra spice. I'm bold yet gentle, fiery yet caring, and I take great pride in knowing I'm someone people feel like they've known forever, even if just for a moment.
Putting my personality to words has always been a bit of a challenge, as I'm not one who can be summed up in a paragraph, let alone a sentence. Let's just say, I've always dreamt of being a sumptuous babe who travels the world secretly planning art heists. For me, the rush of knowing I'm partaking in something thrilling and illicit would be more exciting than the treasures!
With interests varied and tastes eclectic, it's only fitting my career path would follow suit. I've gone from Photojournalism to business school to working in tech finance and yes it has been an exciting ride. I'm a firm believer in the Albert Einstein quote "Once you stop learning, you start dying" so my pursuit of knowledge however random, has always been an unstoppable force.
The Confidant
Something that's stuck with me over the years is the poem 'Ships that pass in the night' by HWL. I've always wondered what would happen if the ships stopped to linger awhile. Seeing as you're here, I can tell we have a few things in common. We're two people intrigued by the thought of dipping our toes into something a bit more illicit. And we crave those lingering moments; ones where we're wrapped up in each other, savoring every second.
